After four decades of providing fun and enjoyment to children, Toytime at Meopham Bank Farm will be closing its doors in March.
Starting from 4th February, the stalwart toy shop is holding a sale which will run until its closing day on 31st March.
Toytime is situated on the edge of a working farm in Hildenborough and will be missed by all its customers. The business, which originated in one small building, has expanded to over 2,500 square feet of retail space. Due to the upcoming closure, it is no longer able to buy in new stock, but willl continue to sell second-hand products.
The store was home to a huge range of perennial favourites such as Lego, Playmobil, Sylvanian Families, dressing up costumes, games, puzzles, pocket money toys, party bag fillers, wooden toys, garden tools and much more.
Managers of Toytime, Brian and Eve, said: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank our loyal customers who have travelled from near and far. It has been our pleasure to meet new faces, and welcome back our long-standing customers, many of whom we have known through two or even three generations. We have thoroughly enjoyed seeing our customers, once visiting as excited children, now coming with their own children and sometimes grandchildren.”
