One of the UK’s largest independent toy retailers, Toytown, is coming to Sheffield’s Crystal Peaks shopping centre.

Toytown will be opening its 29th store at the award winning Sheffield shopping centre, Crystal Peaks, on 13th July. The company was founded in Belfast in 1980 and has since grown into one of the country’s largest independent toy shops, with this being their fifth new store opening this year.

Previous openings in 2019 include stores in Washington (Newcastle), The Cascades in Portsmouth, the Trinity Centre in Aberdeen, and intu Centre Uxbridge, which has taken the place of a Toys R Us unit.

Toytown’s range of top family favourite brands includes Lego, Playmobil and Little Tikes as well as a full range of baby and nursery equipment. Toytown’s Sharon Barbour said: “We are well known for our choice of popular brands and fantastic prices and we can’t wait to share this with the shoppers of Sheffield.”

“We are delighted to be welcoming Toytown to Crystal Peaks,” added centre manager Lee Greenwood. “Along with the recent opening of The Pud Store, with its great range of children’s fashions, the launch of Toytown strengthens our offer for the whole family.”
