Toytown to open in Leicester

Toytown, which operates shops across Britain and Ireland, is set to open a new store on Leicester’s High Street.

Toytown-480The new premises will consist of two floors and will employ six full-time staff. Shopfitting is taking place this week.

Managing director Alan Simpson told The Leicester Mercury: “We’ll have two floors of toys and our speciality is going to be special offers – we buy end-of-line stock and sell it at up to 50% off the usual retail value.”

Toytown has been in business since 1979 and its other branches are located in Sheffield, Doncaster, Chelmsford and Canterbury, as well as Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
