The Trends UK team marked its 20th anniversary in style at Silverstone with a day out organised as a special thank you to staff.
Trends UK is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Formed in 2002 by a small number of toy industry professionals with a vision to rescue an old British toy company which had gone into liquidation, the successful new business was launched, initially focusing on science and nature toys.
Today the company is a small, but vibrant, business in the UK toy industry, bringing exciting and innovative products to the market. Trends UK continues to design and develop its own toy lines, having expanded the portfolio to include pre-school learning toys, science toys, detailed replica engine kits, spy role play gadgets, magic sets and creative play categories. Trends also provides sales, marketing & logistics expertise to several international companies in the UK market.
Celebrating two decades, the company spent an exciting day out on 3rd July at the British Grand Prix.
Managing Director Lee Clowes commented: ‘What better way to celebrate our 20th anniversary than a day out at Silverstone, right on our doorstep, and with a guest appearance on the podium from a British icon (Lewis was robbed, again!). A wonderful day organised as a special thank you to our great team at Trends, capping off 20 years of thrills, spills and adventure.”
The company continues to delight pre-schoolers with its range of licensed electronic learning toys featuring Numberblocks & Alphablocks, Hey Duggee, Peppa Pig, Paw Patrol, The Adventures of Paddington, Something Special and Thomas & Friends. Meanwhile, the Science Mad, Machine Works and SpyX ranges offer exciting learning adventures, exploration and engineering skills for older children.
Artistic kids will love the newest addition to the Trends UK portfolio, with this year’s launch of the Paint Pop Paint Sticks range, offering mess free painting with limitless creativity.
