Turner CN Enterprises (TCNE) unveiled its new pre-school property Ha Ha Hairies at the International Licensing EXPO, where it made its debut under the Cartoonito banner.
Created by Mellie Buse and Jan Page, everything in the surreal world of Hairyland, from the live-action characters and their beautiful hairy house to the two CG-animated Hairy Fairies, Wiggy and Kwiff, who narrate the slapstick proceedings, is hairy.
The property’s comedic elements, and use of whacky hairiness, was presented to visitors of the International Licensing EXPO as an exciting new cross-category licensing opportunity for publishing, creative play, toys, health and beauty, food, apparel and accessories, and homewares.
Alan Fenwick, VP, Turner CN Enterprises adds, “Ha Ha Hairies is another example of Turner working with the world’s most talented creatives on content that is totally unique. Already one of our top rated shows on Cartoonito, the Ha Ha Hairies is connecting with children across EMEA through its engaged approach to slapstick comedy, bright hairy environments and original catchy songs.”
Ha Ha Hairies airs on EMEA’s most distributed pre-school channel Cartoonito which is available in 136 million households in 112 territories across the region.
