The toy range launches this month in the run up to the UK premiere of Ben 10: Omniverse on Cartoon Network on 6th October.
Retail partners include Toys R Us, The Entertainer, Smyths Toys Superstores, Argos, Hamleys and Toymaster in one of the company’s largest retail initiatives to date.
Toys R Us is offering fans the chance to win hundreds of prizes, including a trolley dash, Xbox 360 and Ben 10 toys, if they find a lucky green ticket in special packs of Ben 10: Omniverse toys.
Throughout September The Entertainer is offering the chance to win everything in the store’s Ben 10 display windows, in addition to a free goodie bag when £14 or more is spent on Ben 10 products in-store.
Smyth’s Toys Superstores will have in-store costume appearances from new aliens Feedback and Shocksquatch across the UK and ROI, and an online competition offering the chance to win a Ben 10: Omniverse playset.
Additional retail support is being provided by Argos, which will be offering an exclusive free DVD with any Ben 10: Omniverse purchase. At Hamleys, a green screen photo opportunity will run throughout the October half term. Toymaster will feature branded window displays at the majority of their stores nationwide.
The range includes 15cm Sound Alien Figures which link to the Omnitrix Touch, a higher priced Omnitrix featuring a touch-screen, and a Proto-Truk vehicle. There is also a playset for Ben’s new main base, the Intergalactic Plumber Command Center.
Bandai will support the range with a heavyweight TV advertising campaign, which will run throughout Autumn/Winter 2012.
