The company will be launching a number of key new brands in 2016, including Teeny Tys, Peek-a-Boos and a range of products based on the Secret Life of Pets movie.
Ty’s new Peek-a-Boos range is a collection of plush smartphone holders with a built-in screen cleaner, which allows children to use their phones hands free. The range will be TV advertised in the UK in April.
The ad, which was shot by America’s number one ad agency Leo Burnett, has already spearheaded a successful seven figure campaign in the USA, resulting in Peek-a-Boos occupying the top four positions in the Amazon sales chart.
Ty will also be launching Teeny Tys, a selection of individual stackable plush items which will retail at £2.99 each. The UK will be the first global territory to launch the range in February, and the launch will be supported by dedicated merchandising solutions, including FSDUs and CDUs.
Ty will also be expanding its character licensed portfolio with the introduction of a range of plush based on Universal’s forthcoming Secret Life of Pets movie, as well as Bing and The Clangers.
