The series, which follows popular characters from the Lalaloopsy line, consists of 52 episodes, each lasting 22 minutes, and aims to promote diversity, friendship and teamwork. The show has already proved a success in the US after being rated number one on Nickelodeon for girls aged 2-5 years old, and in the top three shows on Nick Jr. for all age demographics.

The UK TV series will star characters such as Mittens Fluff ‘N’ Stuff, Bea Spells-a-Lot, Rosy Bumps ‘N’ Bruises, Jewel Sparkles, Peanut Big Top, Spot Splatter Splash, Crumbs Sugar Cookie, Dot Starlight and their group of friends. The show will also be repeated on Nick Jr. +1.

Andrew Laughton, managing director at MGA Entertainment, said: “We are really excited to bring Lalaloopsy to UK TV screens and to partner with such a well-known children’s TV channel. The US TV series has proved a storming success and we are sure our partnership in the UK will propel the Lalaloopsy brand to further new heights.”
