Popular blogger to present at FunFest 2016

Published on: 16th February 2016

Slummy Single Mummy takes to the stage at this year’s blogger event.

funfest480Jo Middleton, the name behind the award-winning Slummy Single Mummy site, has been signed to speak at this year’s FunFest Blogger Summit.

Jo’s site has been running for over six years and is now one of the biggest blogs in the UK, covering family, lifestyle and travel topics. She boasts a combined social media following of over 70,000 and has worked with numerous brands including Nickelodeon, Warner Bros, Disneyland Paris, Tesco and Cadbury.

Her presentation at FunFest will focus on how bloggers can grow their audience – and their revenues – by working with brands.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to be speaking at the FunFest Blogger Summit,” she said. “I always love attending events like this and meeting other bloggers, and I get as much from it as anyone, if not more. It’s brilliant, of course, to be able to share my experience and expertise, but it’s always inspiring for me to soak up the enthusiasm and passion of new bloggers.”

Kirsty Barr, director of miPR Global, the company behind the FunFest Blogger Summit, added: “We’re delighted that Jo is going to present at this year’s event. After the success of last year’s Summit, we’re aiming to make FunFest 2016 even bigger and better. Having Jo speak at the conference is just the start.”

The FunFest Blogger Summit 2016 takes place on 10th September at Whittlebury Hall Hotel and Spa. Find out more by visiting www.funfestuk.com.
