University Games and The Lagoon Group have welcome three experienced regional account managers – Stephen Woodman, Kim Steward and Sally Irwin.

Stephen Woodman, account manager for South London and the South East, brings with him a wealth of industry and specialist toy knowledge, having spent many years in the industry at Professor Puzzle and Coiled Spring Games. Before joining University Games, he headed up Recent Toys.

The new account manager for the North of London and the Home Counties is Kim Steward. Kim joins University Games with a vast amount of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and the company says this transferable knowledge and sales expertise will be a great benefit to the team.

Completing the trio of appointments is Sally Irwin, who will be overseeing The Midlands. Sally boasts an impressive portfolio with experience in both the gift and game industries, having previously worked at Carte Blanche and Wow Toys. Her strong understanding of two of University Games’ strongest categories is considered ‘great news’ for the business and Sally’s customers.

Mark Jones, sales director for University Games, believes exciting times lie ahead for the company following the substantial growth of the sales team. He says he is delighted to have the trio onboard, and that they’ll be bringing ‘even greater strength and depth to the business’.

He adds: “Stephen, Kim and Sally will be at Autumn Fair next week, along with our entire team, so we would love all our retailers and new customers to come and say hello, and have a catch up with us all. As many of our customers know, we always have a welcoming seat – and a few sweets to help with the energy levels too.”

University Games and The Lagoon Group offer a comprehensive portfolio of over 700 innovative games, puzzles and gift to cater for the whole family, from pre-school through to adult. Some of the ever-popular lines include Subbuteo, Smart Ass, Sort it Out, Kersplatt, What’s Up and Don’t Say it as well as Football Stadiums and Harry Potter 3D puzzles.

Exhibitors can find the companies at Autumn Fair: University Games will be on stand 6H30-J31, while The Lagoon Group is on 6J37.
