Vivid Goliath unveils world first with Recyclings collectibles

Published on: 8th December 2021

Launching across the UK and Eire from January, Recyclings are the first collectible made from recycled plastic.

Distributed in a partnership with Headstart, Recyclings characters are made from 70% recycled plastic, with each Recycling saving seven bottle caps from landfill, a move which Vivid Goliath says means guilt free collecting as well as educating kids on sustainability.

From Dumplings to Dragons, Hotdogs to Handbags and Popcorn to Pandas, the Recyclings are celebrating their new lives, becoming anything they want to be. There are over 90 characters to collect in the first season, spanning eight categories including foodies, nature, under the sea, movie night and more. Collectors can also seek out the limited edition Recyclings – Glittery Shooting Star, Golden Treasure Chest or Glowing Ghost to add to their collection and make it even more exciting.

The range includes both eco-friendly toys and packaging, and the capsules which the characters come in are also made from 100% recycled plastic. Recyclings also double as handy-pencil toppers, so are ideal for both work and play.

“We’re delighted to partner with Headstart to distribute Recyclings and the range has been curated to meet all the key price points” said senior brand manager, Chloe Burrowes. “From the entry priced Collector Cap Pack through to storage and display cases and a Collection Truck Playset coming later in ‘22, there is a price point for every occasion”.

This thoughtful toy choice for a greener, cleaner planet will be launched with an extensive marketing plan. “We will be covering all channels where children are consuming content,” added Chloe. “Youtube and the all-important Influencers network will help to show both parents and children the collectability, cute characters and environmentally friendly ethos behind the brand”.

A Recyclings game will be available to download, to merge physical and digital worlds, and the brand will be supported with a range TVC and catchy jingle to match.
