Vivid knocks it out of the park with early outdoor sales

Vivid’s latest outdoor propositions, Wubble Bubble Ball and Phlat Ball, have seen a massive boost in sales after the first week of advertising and are on their way to being a sell out for the summer season.

vivid-wordpressWubble Bubble Ball launched this January and is an outdoor toy that looks like a bubble but plays like a ball. Phlat Ball is a transforming disc that pops into a ball when thrown. Both brands have shown a huge demand from consumers and Vivid is exploring all options to ensure the company doesn’t run out of stock.

Kira Mutimer, assistant brand manager, commented: “We’re absolutely thrilled with early success that retailers are experiencing on both of these brands. Despite the weather being characteristically British, it hasn’t hampered consumers going out and purchasing outdoor toys. Both of these brands have proven to be extremely reactive to TV and have given us a great gauge of things to come.”

Both brands are backed by a heavyweight TV campaign, with further bursts scheduled throughout the summer season.
