Vivid launches Sky Dancers at London Eye event

To celebrate the launch of the five Sky Dancer dolls Vivid hosted an event packed with celebrities, media and influencers. 

Sky DancerThe Vivid Toy Group partnered with Merlin Venues at the London Eye to take VIP guests on a sky high journey above London. The event featured branded Sky Dancer activities, themed catering and the chance to get hands on with the five fluttering fashionista dolls in the collection: Fuchsia Fantasy, Miss Mint, Sapphire Sparkle, Coral Cutie and Purple-Licious.

A host of celebrities including Anna Nightingale, Vanessa Feltz, Imogen Thomas, Linda Robson and Abbie Quinnan were wowed by the experience as they were treated to demos of the dolls while floating skyward.

The 90’s toy sensation which sold over 100m units when first launched, is inspiring a new generation of children and is battery free, so the Sky Dancers can be played with as soon as they are released from their box. With intricate wing detail, each of the Sky Dancer dolls stands 18cm high and has its own unique 14cm decorated feature base and co-ordinated outfit in keeping with its name.

When released from the recyclable pack, children can simply pull the attached string on the side of each base to send each Sky Dancer spinning and whirling up, up and away. Dancing into the air on rotating wings, they delicately float back down and can be re-positioned on top of the base unit. With personalised bios for each of the dolls, kids can choose a Sky Dancer to suit their own individual style. Fuchsia Fantasy makes plants and flowers grow and keeps the Kingdom in full bloom, Purple Licious can transform any cloud into cotton candy and Miss Mint makes the most beautiful pictures for the Kingdom.
