VTech’s interactive competition on its Facebook page offered parents a chance to win £1,000 worth of VTech toys and for their baby’s giggle to be used as a sound effect on a new VTech Baby toy. Winner Alfie’s giggle received 1,424 ‘I love this’ recommendations; watch the video here.
The competition received 247 videos and gave VTech’s Facebook fans an opportunity to share with friends and family across the social network. During the running of this competition the VTech Facebook ‘likes’ increased from just under 10,000 to over 17,600.
The giggle competition was promoted through the VTech Club newsletters, the VTech UK Twitter and Facebook pages, the VTech website and in all VTech Baby print advertising.
