VTech launches Aardman adventures on Innotab2

Published on: 14th September 2012

Young fans have a new platform to watch hit shows Shaun the Sheep and Wallace and Gromit.

This new deal with VTech allows Aardman fans access to content at any time. Parents and children can browse the extensive videos and ebooks selection on the Learning Lodge Navigator, which displays all available content, and download the videos onto their tablets.

InnoTab2 is a multi-media educational tablet for children aged 4-9 that combines interactive and animated reading, learning games, creative activities and a rich collection of applications. It features a 5” colour touch screen, a tilt-sensor for game control, as well as interfaces for USB, SD card and a headphone jack, all within a tough and compact design for easy portability.

Andrew Barrett, director of European product development, said: “VTech is delighted to be working with Aardman Animations. Innotab2 gives us a great opportunity to work with the nation’s favorite British animation studio. Watching videos of much-loved characters like Timmy Time on their very own tablet will be magical for children.”

Aardman’s properties continue to flourish on digital platforms, with popular communities reaching millions of fans worldwide and content now available on a variety of devices and online services.
