VTech strengthens marketing team

VTech has strengthened its marketing team with the appointments of Andrew Welch and Carla Prosser.Andrew-and-Carla-VTech-imag

Welch joins as senior brand manager and will be working on InnoTab, Switch & Go Dinos and Pre-school electronic learning toy brands. Welch has 10 years’ toy experience and previously worked at Bandai as senior product manager working on boys’ action brands, most recently focusing on Power Rangers.

Prosser joins VTech as digital marketing manager and joins VTech with 10 years’ digital experience, having most recently worked in the travel sector. Her role will be to expand the company presence online, develop the VTech Club and implement an aligned social media strategy. Prosser previously worked at Imagine Cruising, one of the UK’s independent cruise specialists.

Clive Richardson, VTech marketing director, commented: “I am delighted to have Carla and Andrew on board to strengthen the UK marketing team and focus on the fast-growing areas of our business. With their new ideas and enthusiasm we are going to be challenging for a top four UK toy manufacturer position this year.”
