The activity launched with five pieces of national newspaper coverage in The Sun, Daily Mirror, Daily Mail, Daily Star and Metro, broadcasting to the nation the findings of the Kid Connect report. This piece of research examined how connected today’s tech savvy children are, and the importance of kid’s safe technology such as the Kid Connect application, exclusive to the VTech InnoTab 3S.

The campaign gained momentum with a piece on Sky News Sunrise where Eamonn Holmes talked about the findings of the report and the importance of kid-safe technology, as well as Sara Cox promoting InnoTab 3S on the nation’s airwaves.

Sara Cox said: “The new InnoTab 3S provides children with some great educational content and a child safe communication tool – Kid Connect, so that as a parent you have the control and peace of mind that they are using technology safely.”

Andrew Welch, senior brand manager at VTech UK, added: “This spike of PR activity with Sara Cox coupled with our recent heavyweight TV advertising campaign is part of a focused strategy to ensure InnoTab 3S is a top toy for Christmas.”
