Warner Bros has renewed the deal which has created a number of new retail loyalty programmes, featuring key characters from its animation portfolio.
Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes and Scooby-Doo are among the properties that will front retail campaigns across the EMEA region. The promotional support will cover instant rewards programmes, redemption rewards schemes, digital consumer games and ‘spend and get’ offers at supermarkets, hypermarkets, petrol stations, convenience stores and DIY and home improvement outlets.
“TCC is one of the leading experts in retail marketing,” said Paul Bufton, vice president of licensing and business development at Warner Bros Consumer Products EMEA. “Our previous experience of working with TCC has shown the team to be extremely knowledgeable of our brands, and what retail loyalty programmes will best work with our properties and their retailers. The programmes that they develop are proven to attract new customers, engage customer loyalty and retain the most valuable customers by offering them added value incentives.”
Marco Camisi, global licensing director of sports and entertainment campaigns at TCC, commented: “We are proud to continue our strong and successful relationship with Warner Bros Consumer Products and look forward to introducing some great new stories and relevant trends at retail through its amazing portfolio of characters. As market leaders, we always aim to develop holistic and exciting events that enhance the core DNA of the brands that we work with. We have done this with great success at key European retailers, including Aldi, Auchan, El Arbol, Esselunga, Merkur, Billa and Coop, and are now looking forward to implementing many more impactful campaigns.”
