The competition saw hundreds of fans enter via the Wasgij.com website. The two winners, Mr Ian Burt from Somerset and Mrs Anita Spada from the West Midlands, will now be drawn by artist Graham Thompson who has been illustrating the puzzle range for 15 years.
The caricatures of Ian and Anita will feature in the 1,000 piece Wasgij Original number 20 puzzle which is set in a fish and chip shop. Puzzlers must then use the clues provided and their imagination to piece together the cause of the scene in the puzzle box image.
Katherine Pierce, marketing manager at Jumbo Games, said: “Wasgij has a very loyal following, so we wanted to reward our fans by offering them the chance to win a unique ‘money can’t buy’ experience. The ‘recommend a friend’ tactic was a really fun and interactive way of reaching out to new customers. We’re now looking forward to seeing Graham Thompson’s caricatures of our two winners in the completed product.”
