Warner Bros. Consumer Products, on behalf of DC Entertainment, has partnered with Schleich on a new line of non-articulated figurines based on the DC Comics Super Heroes.
The global partnership marks the second time Schleich has partnered with an entertainment property and was brokered by Schleich’s licensing agency, All American Licensing & Management Group.
Schleich’s figures will feature detailed character representations of DC Comics heroes including Batman, Superman and Green Lantern.
The first line will be launched in January 2015 and will include single 4.33-inch figurines as well as special scenery packs with Batman and Superman villains, The Joker and Darkseid.
Karen McTier, EVP domestic licensing and worldwide marketing, WBCP, said: “We are thrilled to partner with Schleich, a staple in toy aisles around the world throughout the years, and excited to incorporate them into the DC Comics universe to bring their artistic detail and creativity to the devoted fans of the DC Comics Super Heroes.”
