Warner Bros. Consumer Products has announced Character Group as the Master UK Toy partner for Looney Tunes. This deal is the final piece in the licensor’s toy strategy to secure a master toy partner for each of its classic animated properties.

The three-year deal will also see the toy company develop and manufacture a new collection of Motion Sensor Plush in addition to a collection of figures, playsets and traditional plush lines.

Paul Bufton, general manager, WBCP UK, said: “It was our ambition to secure a Master Toy partner for each of our classic animated properties and this deal with Character, who has delivered huge success on Scooby-Doo, completes this toy strategy. Our focus now shifts to securing similar manufacturing and distribution partnerships in all key regional markets.”

Jon Diver, joint managing director, The Character Group, commented: “The recent addition of Looney Tunes to our line-up has further strengthened the long standing relationship we have with Warner Bros. Consumer Products.”
