WiT announces finalists for 30th Wonder Women Awards

The event celebrating female leaders in Toys, Licensing and Entertainment is set to return during Toy Fair New York in February.

The finalists for the Women in Toys, Licensing & Entertainment‘s 30th Wonder Women Awards have been announced. The winners will be presented with their awards in a ceremony at Pier Sixty in New York City on 20th February 2022, an event which coincides with Toy Fair New York.

The annual event hosted by WiT, a non-profit organisation and global community whose mission is to advocate for the advancement of women and a more inclusive and equitable workforce, will recognise outstanding industry leaders in toys, licensing and entertainment for their impactful contributions over the past two years.

The awards cover various categories: Designer/Inventor, Development, Licensor/Entertainment, Licensee/Manufacturer, Covid Hero, Social Good, Marketing/Publications, Deal Maker, Rising Star/Designer/Inventor, Storyteller, Unsung Hero, Wonder Girl, Rising Star/Deal Maker, Rising Star/Licensor/Entertainment, Rising Star/Licensee/Manufacturer, Rising Star/Social Good, Rising Star/Storyteller, Rising Star/Marketing/Publication Relations and Rising Star/Unsung Hero. “Our slate of finalists includes incredible women who continued to innovate and make their mark on our industry during the past two years of covid and massive disruption in our industry,” said Genna Rosenberg and Jennifer Caveza, WiT Wonder Women co-chairs. “We look forward to the industry learning more about their extraordinary contributions as they vote for 2022 Wonder Women Winners in advance of the upcoming Awards dinner.”

Voting for the Wonder Women Awards opened to all WiT members on Monday 20th December and runs until Friday 14th January 2022.
