Entertainment One’s Ricky Zoom gets new broadcast and licensing deals

Karusel, Minika Cocuk and Spacetoon are joining the growing slate of broadcasters to premiere Ricky Zoom this autumn.  

Entertainment One (eOne) has announced that new partners will join the global broadcast launch of series one of its  new pre-school animated property, Ricky Zoom this autumn. Turkish network, Minika Cocuk has brought the new CGI action adventure comedy to screens. Free to Air channels Karusel in Russia and Spacetoon Kids’ TV channel in the Middle East and North Africa will follow, with Karusel debuting from the 19th October 2019.

“We’re very proud to welcome Karusel, Minika Cocuk and Spacetoon to our outstanding line up of top tier broadcasters” said eOne’s Monica Candiani, EVP international content sales, family and brands. “We’re delighted to expand our presence in these markets and to introduce Ricky Zoom to as many homes as possible.”

eOne is also readying the consumer products programme for Ricky Zoom. Rosman will be charged with developing the brand’s publishing category in Russia while Megalicense is the appointed agent for consumer products for Russia and CIS. In Turkey, FILMA will represent eOne for consumer products.

Global FTA, PAYTV and VOD platforms are raring to debut eOne’s latest pre-school property across multiple territories, including Nickelodeon (US), Super RTL (Germany), Clan TV (Spain), Gulli (France), RAI (Italy), Youku (China), and Discovery Kids (Latin America) with further deals soon to be announced ahead of MIPCOM 2019.
