Hamleys has announced plans to open a store in Prague in the first half of next year.
Developer Lordship revealed in a press release that the store will be based in a renovated building in the centre of Prague. The store will cover 6,130 square metres – larger than the Hamleys Regent Street store which spans 4,500 square metres.
Lordship and Immofinanz AG are the project investors. Lordship head Vaclav Matousek commented: “For Prague it will mean not only an influx of tourists but also a notable rise of prestige of the main pedestrian precinct in the centre of the city.”
