She will be based at MGAE’s North American global headquarters in Chatsworth, California, reporting directly to Isaac Larian, CEO and founder of MGAE.

“I have known Sandrine for many years and I’m happy to have her back at MGAE,” said Isaac. “Her deep knowledge of the international markets combined with her passionate spirit to deliver quality programmes and initiatives will bring for exciting international licensing programmes.”

She will be responsible for strategising the growth and expansion of international markets in Europe, Australia, Middle East, Asia and Latin America. Her focus will revolve around licensing and sales initiatives that align with the company’s overall growth categories, including content distribution, live experiences, and consumer engagement activities, as well as other management responsibilities. She will also work closely with North American licensing head Ratna Kirpal, who joined MGAE in early 2019, to identify and orchestrate global licensing programmes.

Sandrine began her career in LA at Saban Entertainment/Fox Family, where she honed her negotiation skills and gained a keen understanding of the relationship between producers, television channels, and toy manufacturers, while also ensuring seamless integration of storytelling, broadcasting, and licensing.

Since 2016, Sandrine has been senior vice president of Hong Kong-based Level-5 abby for the joint venture of Dentsu Inc. and Level-5. Prior to that, she served Japanese giant Sanrio from 2011 concurrently as the COO of Sanrio GmbH, COO of Mr. Men Limited, and senior vice president of Sanrio Global Asia.
