Spider Global signs agency agreement with Carson Dellosa

Published on: 4th June 2019

In a statement, Spider Global CEO René Schweitzer has outlined how the agreement will help to develop the business globally.

Spider Global is a newly formed sourcing, product development and procurement company, based in Hong Kong. René has said that the company is excited about a variety of opportunities coming its way from inventors, licensors and other partners.

Last week an important milestone was achieved, when Carson Dellosa Education (CDE) appointed Spider Global to be its sole procurement and product development agent in the Far East.

CDE has over 40 years of history solving the challenges of educators with supplemental educational materials. Founded by teachers and with thousands of products designed to help satisfy educators, parents and students, CDE is able to deliver on their brand promise of ‘Education is Everywhere’.

“Under the leadership of CEO Ira Hernowitz (former executive at Hasbro, TRU and Stride Rite) CDE has high ambitions to grow the business and utilise experiences in education and toys, creating many new opportunities,” said René Schweitzer, CEO Spider Global, in her statement. “CDE recently acquired the rights for Fisher Price musical instruments from Kids Station Toys and finalised a licence deal for Disney educational books and accessories. We will now focus on the execution of the current year’s business as well as product developments for 2020, enhancing product variety, function, design and line architecture. We are proud to support CDE in its effort to grow the business further and become its ‘home in the Far East’.”
