Toy retail tracking service launched in Russia

The NPD Group has announced the launch of the service, which will monitor in-store and online sales of toy products from a range of retailers in Russia.

npd480Retailers will be able to access data, including main upcoming trends, and will be able to react faster to those trends.

Maria Vanifatova, country manager of The NPD Group in Russia, said: “The challenging economic environment in Russia, combined with cost-conscious consumers and increasing competition, makes the need for up-to-date, accurate point-of-sale information greater today than ever before.”

The new service will arm companies with information to diagnose what is happening at a much closer level.
