Worlds Apart supports key ranges on TV

Worlds Apart enters the Pre-Christmas season with major marketing plans in place to support its master toy ranges and key new introductions, including Horrible Histories, My Blue Nose Friends and Go Glow Heroes.horriblehistwatv300

For Horrible Histories, Series 2 of the blind bags launches at the beginning of September,  and the major Autumn/Winter playset is the Battle Arena. TV advertising has been running throughout 2013 to support the launch of the brand, and the latest commercial, which started running at the end of July, can be seen below.

Andy Cooper, marketing director, commented: “We’ve been running a major TV campaign throughout 2013, so we know that the Horrible Histories range reacts well to TV advertising. In addition, we have put in place an extensive consumer marketing campaign to support the brand; as well as year-round digital marketing, we’ve held battle events at retail venues across the country, with actors making appearances at toy shops, giving tips on how to play the game. We’ve also worked closely with the Horrible Histories stage show and monthly magazine to make sure that every Horrible Histories fan knows all about the range.”

There is a raft of promotional activity to support My Blue Nose Friends in the run-up to Christmas, including an extensive TV advertising campaign which started on 5th August. The commercial can be viewed below. In addition, packaging has been revamped across the whole range to ensure stand-out on shelf, and display units have been introduced to give extra in-store presence to the range.

Lucy Wynne-Jones told Toy World: “TV is the key driver for My Blue Nose Friends. The range featured in two TV bursts earlier in the year, and we’ll have ads running from the start of August right through until the end of the year. We’re also excited about the launch of a series of webisodes, which will really show the personality behind each of the main characters.”

The Go Glow Heroes ad campaign will break on 16th September, and we’ll bring you the finished commercial when it is available.
