Worlds Apart through to finals of HSBC Global Connection competition

Worlds Apart has beaten over 350 other businesses in the South West to become a finalist in the HSBC Global Connections competition.

HSBC Global Connections is a competition to find “forward thinking, ambitious UK businesses, with a strong sense of direction and clear strategies for dynamic growth, centred primarily on taking their products to new International markets”. Following a sponsored networking trip to the Far East early next year, the company will pitch its strategies against others to become first a regional, and then perhaps a national winner during next year, with significant cash prizes, substantial lending and extensive national publicity.

Simon Birchenough, co-founder of Worlds Apart, said: “The timing of this achievement could not be better. As a product design & development company in the kids’ lifestyle & leisure sector, export is an essential & growing part of our strategy for growth, and taking part in this competition will undoubtedly accelerate this process.”
