Wow! Stuff blasts off new HYPR Rockets

Published on: 22nd November 2022

The introduction of HYPR Rockets marks Wow! Stuff’s first foray into the outdoor toys category with a unique patented design.

Wow! Stuff is entering the outdoor toys market with a unique and multi-patent take on an established toy play pattern. New HYPR Rockets feature three child safe soft tipped rockets that are launched by stomping on the included air pad. A patent system for a switch on the rocket’s platform allows the child to choose Turbo or non-Turbo modes, sending the rockets to incredible heights.

Set for lift off in spring 2023 and launching first with the HYPR Rocket 500, Wow! Stuff says the HYPR 500 is “the fastest, farthest flying toy rocket in its category”.

Wow! Stuff has won multiple awards and global recognition for its unique tech-toys and world first inventions, is a four-time TOTY (Toy Of The Year) award nominee and winner of the Innovation award at the 2020 TOTY’s. The company recently announced the launch an array of new Real FX toys, cementing the company’s mantra of being ‘driven by innovation’.

Kenny McAndrew, head of product development at Wow! Stuff, commented: “The outdoor category is firmly established and the play pattern is just great, but there has been little innovation here for many years. When we watched kids choose their favourite outdoor toy to play with from all the well known brands, the majority ended up hogging the air rockets. Each kid tried to out-distance their friends. The penny dropped that it would be cool if they could boost their rocket’s performance and see it shoot further, or even the playing field when competing with their parents. That led to the innovative Turbo Boost switch.”

The HYPR 500 Rocket is available for trade pre-order now.
