Wow! Stuff’s Harry Potter Invisibility Cloak wins Innovation Award

Wow! Stuff was presented with the Innovation Award at New York Toy Fair.

Wow! Stuff took top honours, winning the Innovation Award at the New York Toy Fair 2020. The company won the judges and the consumers votes to take the title of most innovative toy with the Harry Potter Invisibility Cloak.

Following the popularity of the cloak in 2019, the company has developed the range with the introduction of a Junior version of the cloak.

Wow! Stuff CEO Richard North commented: “The new 2020 Junior Invisibility Cloak will have an SRP of just £35, making it especially attractive as it avoids the near 30% tariffs imposed in certain countries. The play pattern and invisibility feature are every bit as good as the 2019 cloak, but at nearly half the price, and off the back of winning the Toy of the Year for Innovation, the Junior Invisibility cloak is gaining strong listings.”

At the New York Toy Fair, Wow! Stuff’s stand also showed off new collectible line  Wow! Pods, which was highlighted in the Trends section and has been featured on multiple popular online platforms. Richard added: “Wow! Pods is a play and display collectible, in both physical and digital format, positioned for young fans of character brands. It’s had the highest buy in at retail of any product we’ve launched to date”.
