Zuru opens new factory

Published on: 10th July 2014

With sales of X-Shot up over 300% since 2013, Hong Kong-based Zuru is focusing on factory automation, streamlining componentry and engineering blasters for higher perceived value and cost.ZuruX-ShotBlaster300

At the same time, Zuru adheres to a strategically restricted SKU count to increase production per item and benefit from economies of scale. Zuru’s wholly owned factory in Guangzhou has hit full production for the next four months due to the high demand for the X-Shot line worldwide. To manage this level of output, Zuru is currently opening a new factory, which will be over three times the size of its current factory with a strong focus on automating the production process.

With five new blasters in the pipeline and set to be shipped by Spring/Summer 2015, the value line is growing, offering increased value for significantly less money.
