Jazwares UK to raise funds for the Toy Trust charity

Published on: 12th June 2024

Jazwares UK is set to participate in Midsummer Mayhem, a fundraising event through the Toy Trust charity, to raise money for disadvantaged children and their families.

The Jazwares UK team will be taking part in the Toy Trust’s Midsummer Mayhem as part of Jazwares Cares, the philanthropic arm of Jazwares that connects with local and global communities to support the education and development of children through play.

The event involves three months of fundraising for the Toy Trust throughout the summer of 2024. Jazwares is stepping up for a worthy cause and walking around the world, in a total of 51m steps, to support the charity, which benefits disadvantaged children and their families.

A total of 62 UK team participants are taking up the challenge, with a fundraising target of £5,000. In the first week alone, the team achieved an impressive 5.1m steps. Wrapping up at the end of May, Jazwares had completed a whopping 22.5m steps, covering 9,375 miles to reach Sydney on the map.

Founded by the BTHA, the Toy Trust exists to raise money predominantly from the toy industry, its suppliers and friends, and distribute the money raised to charities within the UK and abroad.
