Board Game Club’s June event provide an eclectic, vibrant mix of games which combined the old with the new, including games spotted at the UK Games Expo.

Board Game Club returns from 6pm-10pm on Tuesday 2nd July at Century Club, in the heart of London’s Soho.

Inspired by the upcoming Paris Olympics, the Euros and the high probability of a rainy British summer, this month’s event will focus on games with a sporty theme, as well as ‘pick up and play’ titles designed to distract and entertain on a wet summer afternoon.

As ever, July’s games menu will contain hand-picked delights designed to offer something for everyone, with a mix of the familiar and the brand new for guests to enjoy, as they compete, quiz and play their way through the evening with like-minded board game fans.

Board Game Club is a free-to-attend sociable games night for grown-ups, which is open to everyone over the age of 18. It regularly attracts a mix of familiar faces from the games industry as well as members of the public getting to know each other over the latest tabletop treats. The June iteration included a selection of fresh new games handpicked from this year’s UK Games Expo, such as 13 Beavers (Format Games), Mycelia (Ravensburger), Belratti (Thames and Kosmos), Dumb Questions To Ask Your Friends (Big Potato) and Snoop (Clarendon Games) as well as many others.

Free tickets are available here, and readers can sign up to the Board Game Club newsletter here.
