Janod Reveals four new Toy Boxes to stimulate the senses

Published on: 14th June 2024

Janod’s unique Toy Boxes, suitable for kids aged 12 months and over, stimulate sight, touch, hearing and more with engaging elements such as shape sorters and mirrors.

Janod has unveiled its brand-new collection of Toy Boxes. Created in collaboration with child development experts to target key early-learning discoveries among children aged 12-36 months and beyond, the all-new Toy Boxes have been curated to inspire play depending on a child’s age and stage.

Each box includes four carefully selected FSC-certified wooden and/or cardboard toys, adapted specifically to the age and skill level in question. Going one step further, each educational box includes a detailed booklet which serves as a valuable guide for parents, explaining the child developmental stages and all the toy’s features.

Toy Box 12+ months comprises a selection of four fun early-learning toys that stimulate senses including touch, sight and hearing. The box contains a frog-shaped sorter and coloured frog babies with mirrors and filters that slot into colour-coded holes, as well as a 3-piece lily-pad puzzle, 3-piece duck themed stacker and a cute cloud rain stick.

Toy Box 18+ months contains four toys specifically designed to stimulate fine motor skills, coordination and musical awareness with its fun yet educational approach. The pull-along wooden turtle and baby are sure to be firm-favourites and are perfect for encouraging infants to take their very first steps. Great for hand-eye coordination, the set also includes fish-shaped threading beads and a musical awakening stand, with three different sounds to stimulate baby’s hearing. The included 4-piece puzzle helps toddlers develop their vocabulary and colour-pairing skills.

Toy Box 24+ months has been meticulously crafted to promote concentration and precision. The crocodile-shaped balancing game challenges players to stack as many wooden leaves as possible on the crocodile’s scaley back. To stimulate children’s hearing, the three musical bells in the box encourage experimentation and the water lily screw toy invites kids to attach each flower to the correct leaf. Janod has also included a 12-piece wooden puzzle depicting a cute, croc-themed scene.

Toy Box 36+ months is perfect for children aged three years and over and comes with a detailed booklet that’ll help parents make the most of its contents. Developed to target cognitive and fine-motor skills, emotional understanding and turn taking, this charming toy box will keep kids entertained for hours. The beaver balance game encourages key planning skills, while the tree abacus will help children grasp the concept of size. To help kids comprehend different colours and logical sequences, Janod has also included a pond-themed musical toy with bells. The friendly box beaver returns to help children expand their vocabulary and identify their emotions with an emotion-themed wooden puzzle, the final toy in this selection.
