José Mourinho stars in new video for Topps’ UEFA Euro 2024

Published on: 20th May 2024

Topps has released a new mockumentary-style advert starring José Mourinho to mark the launch of its UEFA Euro 2024 Match Attax cards and sticker collections.

Topps has released the next instalment of its partnership with global Topps brand ambassador, José Mourinho.

Marking the launch of the Topps UEFA Euro 2024 Match Attax cards and sticker collections, the video sees the Special One star in a mockumentary-style office marketing meeting where his team present outlandish ideas to promote the Topps UEFA Euro 2024 collectibles. Ideas include the starring of Mourinho as a school teacher, school child and cleaner among others, all dismissed by the football manager with his trademark deadpan directness.

Patrick Rausch, chief marketing officer, EMEA of Fanatics Collectibles and Topps, said: “UEFA Euro 2024 is fast approaching and it’s a real privilege to bring our collectibles to fans ahead of such a big tournament. It’s only right that we enlist the support of Jose to mark such a special moment in the football calendar, and we’re excited for football fans and collectors alike to celebrate UEFA Euro 2024 with us.”

The new advert is the latest activity in Topps’ UEFA Euro 2024 campaign, which has already featured viral videos with the Special One, a giant mosaic of Scotland captain Andy Robertson made from over 5,000 Topps UEFA Euro 2024 Match Attax trading cards, a #WeAllSticker skit with UK broadcasters Roman Kemp and Chris Stark and content from multiple creators, ambassadors and footballing royalty.

As an official licensed UEFA partner until 2028, Topps will provide exclusive trading cards, stickers, and collectibles connected to UEFA Euro 2024 as well as other marquee football events including the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League. The UEFA Euro 2024 range will include stickers, cards and collectibles of each competing national team.
