Tom Bibby, the former area sales manager for HTI Toys, is looking for a new role within the industry after recently being made redundant.
Tom Bibby has been area sales manager for HTI Toys since 2011, and is currently looking for a new role within the sector after being informed that he was made redundant last week. In this role, Tom looked after the south of the UK – from south Wales across to London and down, out to the Channel Islands. Most of his business was in the London/Surrey side of the country, taking him away two to three nights a week. As area sales manager, Tom managed most independents on patch, buying group stores, wholesalers and online accounts.
Tom told Toy World: “The toy industry, and sales, is something I very much want to stay involved in. If there are any opportunities that anyone thinks I might be applicable for, they would only need to call Paul Reader at Toymaster or any of the well known indies, such as Mark or Stephen at Toy Barnhaus, to get an insight of the true me and how I work. This is an industry I love and I’m excited to seek out the next opportunity.”
