Funrise completes successful Premier League LED campaign

Funrise’s Gazillion Bubbles pitch side LED campaign took place throughout this year’s Premier League season, watched by millions.

Gazillion Bubbles took to LEDs pitch side with a nine-game advertising campaign to celebrate 20 years of the Gazillion brand last month. With each match being televised live on either Sky Sports or TNT Sports, the Gazillion brand was seen by millions to deliver great brand building and exposure.

The marketing effort combined with expanded distribution and an enhanced digital footprint saw Gazillion Bubbles finish April with the standard 2-litre and Giant 2-litre solutions as the No. 1 and No. 2 bubble items in the Circana bubble subclass year to date, after own brand. The solutions have also been ranking consistently within the top five total toys and games ranking on Amazon. The brand has achieved strong performance this year.

Mayur Pattni, Marketing manager Europe, said: “The Premier League LED campaign brought great exposure to the Gazillion Bubbles brand and helped to build demand. Combined with tactical promotions and enhanced online content optimisation, we saw a great performance in April. We want to continue this momentum into the summer and build off this performance to grow, providing a great option with proven sell through performance to retailers looking for a trade up bubble solution for its customers.”

The campaign helped to raise the awareness, profile and exposure of the Gazillion brand to millions of football fans, especially with families and dual viewing of live TV games at home with children. In addition to live TV broadcast, highlight shows such as Match of The Day, and short form highlight clips posted by Sky Sports and TNT Sports on YouTube garnered further views.
