Micro Scooters celebrates 20 years with workplace scooter scheme

Published on: 1st May 2024

Micro Scooters is celebrating 20 years of the brand in the UK with the launch of a workplace scooter scheme to encourage companies to travel sustainably.

Micro Scooters is celebrating its 20th year in the UK. The first Mini and Maxi scooters hit London’s streets in 2004 – in the same year Kelly Holmes won double gold at the Athens Olympics and the last episode of Friends was aired. Fast forward two decades, and now more than 1m families regularly use Micro Scooters for the school run, as part of the journey to work or weekend adventures. The product has changed many families’ everyday routine, offering a variety of toddlers, kids and adults scooters.

In celebration of 20 years of Micro in the UK, the company has launched a workplace scooter scheme. Workplaces of all shapes and sizes can now benefit from receiving a fleet of branded scooters for staff. Whether that’s to encourage staff to get to and from work in a more environmentally friendly way or to get to and from meetings quickly. There are a wealth of ways companies and employees can benefit by having scooters for the workplace. Early adopters like Vodafone, Google, Sky and Mediacom and more have already ordered their custom-branded scooter fleet.

The Micro team will also be bringing new and exciting products to this year’s Toymaster show this month. The Micro range has expanded over two decades, from scooters and bikes to helmets and lights, so visitors are encouraged to take a look at the stand and speak to sales agents.

The company website has details of the full range, and the team can be contacted on 01206 381 334 or tradeorders@micro-scooters.co.uk.
