Our company operates on a family friendly, flexible working from home (remote) model and therefore, successful applicants will be required to have a workspace to safely accommodate this arrangement.

The National and Key Accounts Manager will play a critical role in managing and nurturing relationships with key accounts at a national or even international level. Your primary goal is to maximise sales, profitability and growth opportunities within these accounts, while ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnership. Previous toy industry experience will be highly regarded.

Performance Objectives

  • Develop and nurture relationships with national retail accounts, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development and supply chain to ensure successful product launches and inventory management.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape and consumer preferences to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Create and implement strategic account plans that align with overall business objectives.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing and promotional strategies to maximise sales and profitability.
  • Full P&L responsibility for sales channels (retail & education).

Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Proven track record of successful national account management in the consumer goods, toy or related industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence decision-making at various levels.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Attend trade shows.
  • Comfortable working from home in a remote office setting.
