Jean-Philippe Randisi leaves Zodiak Kids

Published on: 6th August 2018

Banijay Group has confirmed the departure of Jean-Philippe Randisi from his role as CEO at Zodiak Kids.

Having joined the business in 2014 from ITV Studios Global Entertainment, Jean-Philippe has been responsible for drastically restructuring the kids business, merging its original three entities in the UK and France into Zodiak Kids. Under his tenure, the company has produced Lilybuds, Floogals, Kody Kapow, Secret Life of Boys, and Spy School.

It has also expanded its MCN business, with highlights including the launch of ZeeKay Junior and ZeeKay, Mister Maker’s channel reaching over 600k subscribers, and total YouTube views for Zodiak Kids content topping 5.5b. This year also saw the business begin co-production activity in China, with the territory becoming the company’s biggest market for distribution.

Banijay Group has commenced the search for a replacement and will announce a new CEO in due course.

Marco Bassetti, CEO, Banijay Group, commented: “Jean-Philippe has served as a great leader for our kids business and we wish him all the best with his future endeavours. He has built a wealth of strong brands in the market and we are looking forward to seeing where we can take the company next.”
