Asmodee UK has announced that the recommended retail price of iconic board game Catan will be reduced from £44.99 to £39.99 as of 1st September.

The reduction in price means that the title will now be accessible to even more consumers who can discover the joys of trading, building and expansion on the island of Catan.

Catan is among six pioneering titles in Asmodee UK’s range of Modern Classics, which highlights the board games that have shaped the growth of the industry and represent essential parts of any new player’s introduction to the market – as well as any experienced player’s collection. Over 25m copies of the game have been sold worldwide since its launch in 1995.

It is joined in the range by family favourites Ticket to Ride Europe, Pandemic, Dixit, Carcassonne and Splendor.
