Toymaster announces latest member

Published on: 19th June 2020

CLB (Caithness Livestock Breeders), based in Thurso, has joined the buying group.

The independent toy buying group, Toymaster, has announced its newest member.

CLB, based in Thurso, is a farmer-owned co-operative stocking all types of farm requisites. Its large retail shop offers a wide range of goods including toys, clothing, pet and equine as well home and giftware.

The shop reopened its doors on 1st June after a trial day held at the end of May. All customers must use hand sanitiser before entering the store, and masks are compulsory for all shoppers and staff. A maximum limit of three shoppers at any one time has been set to ensure social distancing is adhered to.

CLB’s Ali Sutherland told Toy World: “We are thrilled to have become Toymaster members. Having recently reopened our shop door to the public, we are more aware than ever that we need to catch the shoppers eye and entice them in, whilst reassuring them that they can continue to shop safely. I am personally looking forward to introducing new toy ranges into our already large range stretching across farming favourites, baby toys, crafting and other popular themes. We have a number of regular young visitors who come to shop for toys. It will be amazing to see their reactions to what’s ‘coming soon’. Our aim is to spread the excitement, rebuild our relationships with those we have not seen throughout lockdown, and to welcome many more new customers.”

CLB is located at:

Sir Archibald Road
Thurso
Caithness
KW14 8HN
