Schleich returns to Royal Dublin Horse Show with Teddy the Shetland Pony

Published on: 19th August 2022

Schleich is thrilled to be back at the Dublin Horse Show with an even bigger and better presence than before.

Young guests can look forward to a world of fun at the Schleich Horseplay Hub, full of imagination and free of grown-up limitations. The brand was last at the show in 2019 and this year returns with a new stand incorporating all of its ranges including Wild Life, Farm World, Dinosaurs, Bayala, Eldrador Creatures and of course, Horse Club. Featuring a redesigned Horse Club themed back wall, an immersive play area is where guests can get hands on with all of the latest toys, colouring tables, photo opportunities and a competition to win €200 worth of Schleich toys. The first 100 visitors to the hub each day will receive a free Horse Club figure, while the new brand advert will also be aired on the venue’s big screens.

Also in attendance will be Schleich mascot and social media sensation, Teddy the Shetland Pony, who will be flying over from the UK to make his Dublin Horse Show debut. As well as doing the rounds of the show in his Schleich blanket, there will be opportunities for guests to meet, greet and get snapped alongside the palomino mega star.

Now in its 147th year, the Dublin Horse Show is one of the largest and most popular events in Ireland. A highlight in the European equestrian social calendar, the world-class event hosted at the famous RDS venue welcomes tens of thousands of visitors annually from all over the world.

Paul Dearlove, marketing manager at Schleich commented: “Attracting equestrian fans from all over the globe, the prestigious Royal Dublin Horse Show provides a unique opportunity for us to engage with our core target audience for Horse Club, as well as a wider audience for the Schleich brand. Following Schleich’s recent rebrand, the timing couldn’t be better as it allows us to introduce our new look while also showcasing the rest of our toy ranges. We are excited to be back and looking forward to seeing guests immerse themselves in the world of Schleich.”

The Dublin Horse Show runs from 17th-21st August 2022 and the Schleich stand will be located in the RDS Concert Hall from 11am-4pm.
