Budgie Fuggler monsters arrive at The Entertainer

Published on: 29th September 2022

The new un-friendly Budgie additions, with funky underpants alongside the classic Fuggler teeth, are now available to purchase.

The Budgie Fuggler Edition monsters are the latest Fuggler toys to hit shelves at The Entertainer. Known for their human-like teeth and signature button hole, Fugglers have developed an iconic status among fans since they first arrived in 2010. The new range of 11 Budgie Fuggler monsters, complete with iconic underpants, is the latest Fuggler release at the retailer.

Andrew Turner, head of Marketing at The Entertainer, said: “The Fuggler brand has grown an impressive fan base since its first release, and we are expecting this latest range of Budgie Fugglers to be incredibly popular. We’re excited to be adding 11 new, perfectly imperfect faces to our well-known collection.”

The new Budgie Fuggler range includes a selection of toys boasting patterned underpants, including leopard print boxers, tight white pants, camouflage, duck print, fried egg and tie dye designs, among others.

A perfect stocking filler for Christmas, when these these mischievous characters are unboxed their new owner will firstly notice their misshapen eyes, strangely human teeth, oddly-shaped bodies and then their impressive underwear.

Originally launched in 2010, Fuggler was founded by a British woman known as Mrs. McGettric who devised the concept of Fugglers after encountering individual denture teeth on eBay and envisioning them as looking funny on teddy bears. In 2018, Spin Master bought the rights to the brand and developed them further to create newer, on-trend Funny Ugly Monsters. Then, in 2021, Addo Play entered into an agreement with Spin Master as an official licensee of the Fuggler brand and now manufactures and markets Fugglers with the endorsement of Spin Master.

Budgie Fugglers are available at all The Entertainer stores and online at www.thetoyshop.com now.
