Hasbro and Smyths partner on new Peppa Pig campaign

Published on: 23rd November 2022

The Peppa Pig marketing campaign, from Hasbro and Smyths toys will see the character brought to life in 3D form for the first time ever.

Hasbro and toy retailer, Smyths Toys have partnered up once again to deliver an integrated 360 marketing campaign based on Peppa Pig in the lead up to the biggest gift-giving season of the year this Christmas.

The advert sees Peppa and Lily jumping in muddy puddles and driving around in the campervan. The campaign marks the first time ever that Peppa has stepped out of her own world and been brought to life in 3D form. With a BVOD media push, the ad spot has aired across the UK, Germany and France (another first for Peppa). The programme also marks the first time Hasbro has worked with PicWicToys in France following its acquisition from Smyths. In addition to the BVOD distribution, the ad has been supported with various digital and social elements, including influencer gifting, an email campaign, website placement and Instagram content programme.

The Hasbro x Smyths Peppa Pig ad campaign will highlight the brand’s fun and innovative toys that are expected to be on wish lists this holiday season. Shoppers will be able to gift the colourful world of Peppa Pig to young fans, including Peppa’s Family Motorhome, Playtime to Bedtime House, Peppa Pig Audio Tonie and Toniebox Starter Set Audio Speaker for Kids, Peppa Pig Air Peppa Jet, 4 Pack Plush and Tomy Toomies Peppa Pig Boat Adventure Set. All Peppa Pig rages are designed to spark imagination and role play fun, encouraging little ones to recreate their favourite Peppa moments and play out brand new stories of their own.
