Lego launches Lego Friends bedroom design competition

Published on: 7th February 2023

To support the Lego Friends brand, children are invited to design their own bedroom space to win a themed bedroom makeover and sleepover experience.

Kids across the UK are being asked to design their ultimate sleepover space to be in with a chance of their design being brought to life, in their own bedroom, so they can throw the ultimate Lego sleepover with friends.

Taking inspiration from Lego Friends bedrooms products, entrants are being encouraged to get creative, designing their dream bedroom based on what they love, their favourite celebrities, preferred colours and unique styles. “From a glitter ceiling, to a brunch or gaming bar, the sky’s the limit when it comes to designing the ultimate sleepover space,” said The Lego Group.

To enter, kids can draw, build or paint their bedroom design, then upload their creation, along with a 100 word description that brings their entry to life, here. Entries close on March 5th.

A panel of judges including interior designer Siobhan Murphy will choose the winning design, with two runners up winning an ultimate sleepover pack to enjoy with friends. To encourage participation, the first 15,000 entrants can receive a free Lego Flower gift from their local Lego store, while stocks last.

The competition is the latest way that fans across the UK can engage with the new Lego Friends brand, including free in-store building experiences at Lego Stores and four giant versions of the  Lego Friends bedrooms being brought to life in Birmingham. Read more on the latest activations here.
