Trailer drops for Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie

Published on: 13th June 2023

The new trailer for Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie heralds the movie’s release this autumn and is accompanied by a new poster and images.

Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon Movies and Spin Master Entertainment have released the trailer for the upcoming follow-up to 2021’s Paw Patrol: The Movie.

In the new film, members of The Paw Patrol swap their badges for capes, as they take on superhero identities after gaining powers from a mysterious meteor. Transformed into The Mighty Pups, the crew must battle archrival Humdinger who teams up with Victoria Vance, a meteor-obsessed mad scientist, to steal the pups’ superpowers and turn themselves into supervillains. Fan favourite Skye features heavily in the action, learning that even the smallest pup can make the biggest difference.

Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie has a talented voice cast which includes Callum Shoniker as Rocky, Christian Corrao as Marshall, Christian Convery as Chase, McKenna Grace as Skye, Luxton Handspiker as Rubble, Nylan Parthipan as Zuma and Marsai Martin as Liberty. Other notable cast members include Kim Kardashian, Chris Rock, Serena Williams, North West, Saint West, James Marsden and Kristen Bell.

The film is directed by Cal Brunker (Paw Patrol: The Movie, The Nut Job 2, Escape from Planet Earth) and is based on the Paw Patrol television series created by Keith Chapman.

This year, the franchise celebrates its 10th anniversary; 2023 has already seen the launch of the Rubble & Crew pre-school series and an all-new primetime half-hour special, All Paws on Deck, which premiered in April. The year of celebration will culminate this autumn with the release of the hotly anticipated movie sequel.
