Customers and retailers are invited to visit Warlord Games to preview upcoming releases and take a look behind the scenes at the company.

On Saturday 2nd September, Warlord Games will be hosting its annual Open Day at the company’s HQ Store in Nottingham. The  event is designed for customers and retailers to visit the store and take a sneak peek behind the scenes at upcoming lines.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to see how the company makes its models. From the initial design, through to sculpting, right through to production and packing.

Craig Nixon, New Business manager at Warlord Games, told Toy World: “The event gets under the skin and allows us to connect with retailers and end customers alike. We will have seminars from senior managers, game writers and designers as well as demonstration and participation games of our best selling lines. It’s a day not to be missed for Warlord enthusiasts.”

Warlord was founded in 2007 by two former Games Workshop employees and is now one of the world’s leading producers of principally historical tabletop wargames, miniatures and accessories. Warlord also holds the licences to produce games and miniatures for the much-loved TV series, Dad’s Army and the  comic, 2000 AD.

Warlord manufactures primarily in the UK and sells to over 600 distributors and stores around the world via its sales teams in the UK, Europe and the Americas, also operating a successful direct-to-consumer operation via its dedicated website.

Tickets are strictly limited, so anyone interested in attending is advised to let the company know as soon as possible if they’d like to visit. Existing stockists can reserve their place via their account manager, and prospective retailers can get in touch on newbusiness@warlordgames.com.
