Tech Deck returns to NASS festival

Published on: 18th July 2023

Spin Master’s Tech Deck brand was a lead sponsor at the street culture festival for the second consecutive year.

Tech Deck was back with flips, tricks and ollies over the weekend, as the finger boarding brand returned as a sponsor at NASS Festival, the UK’s biggest celebration of street culture. Richard Dickson, Spin Master general manager UK & ROI, said: “NASS is unlike any other festival in its celebration of music, street art, skate and BMX. We’re excited to have been asked back and to be one of the lead sponsors for a second consecutive year.”

There was Tech Deck branding in the Pro Park, where the crème de la crème of the pro skating world competed, whilst the Tech Deck Mini Ramp also made its debut. Over 150 of the best transition BMX riders from across the world showcased tricks on the Tech Deck Mini Ramp over the weekend in competitions and jams as they vied to be named the best and walk away with the £7,000 prize pot.

The Tech Deck team was also on hand over the four-day festival to sample products and demonstrate some of the latest fingerboards on offer from the new autumn/wnter range which includes the latest designs of 96mm boards and the Tech Deck X-Connect playsets.

Tech Deck is the global leader in fingerboarding, creating working replicas of skateboards that enthusiasts ‘ride’ by mastering tricks and manoeuvres with their fingers. The brand has also been one of the official sponsors of the 2022 Skateboard GB x Habito National Championships.

Richard Dickson added: “Tech Deck is a global premier experience which entertains and delights millions around the planet, bringing families of all ages together. We’re delighted to have seen that happening at NASS Festival this weekend.”

Elliott Brough, brand partnerships lead for the festival, said: “NASS festival proudly celebrates street culture and all that it encompasses. An important part of that celebration is partnering with fresh and exciting brands with real relevancy to our festival goers. Tech Deck is just that, and it’s been a pleasure to have the team back on site this year to sponsor the pro park and mini ramp. It’s a brand partnership that delivers with absolute authenticity, providing a fantastic experience for all of our attendees from festival goers to skate and BMX pros who head to NASS from all over the world. Thanks to the Tech Deck team for its role in making NASS such a huge success for 2023.”
